Part of the Sunday series, preached at a Sunday Morning service
God brings you into a wilderness place. Your wilderness experience that you feel right now, that's the place where God is drawing you to himself. The wilderness experience is where we can find God in that place, come with a heart that is expectant. It's not a bad thing, it's God saying "will you come to me?" So He can cut off the things that are not of God. Don't miss this opportunity!
Ex 25:23,24 Table of Shewbread and the lampstand. Everything in the tabernacle speaks of Jesus. Acacia wood, same as the burning bush. The gold represents the divinity of God, the wood is the humanity - gold over wood.God has taken particular notice of who you are.
Not just about information, relevant to our life today. Changes our whole focus in our lives. The process of worship gives us an opportunity to come into the presence of God. God has given us the amazing role of worship. Our worship brings us to a place before God. He invites us to draw close. Gets our eyes off ourselves and we focus on him.
Priests washed their hands and feet - what I do, and where I go. We can't earn salvation. Jesus the disciples feet - didn't wash their hands, was about their purpose and direction. He doesn't want us to just be clean, he wants us to become a disciple, to have fellowship with him, have prayer permeate and saturates my life.
The Holy Place is where we seek revelation.
Showbread. 2 stacks, 6 on each side => 12 tribes of israel. Sustenance comes from God.
John 6:31-35. Bread of God is Hi who comes down from heaven and gives life to the world. Jesus has come to give life to us in the world. We need to keep pressing into the Holy Place. Table of the presence of God. We need to become people of presence. *If you're going to be a follower of God, then we need to be a people of His presence.*
Say 2014 I'm going to press in, make time to be in God's presence. A disciple is someone who loses their rights, their agenda and follow rather than lead. God is literally trying to wash our brain. God prepares a table for us in the presence of our enemy. If we hunger and thirst after righteousness, then God will fill us. He who believes in me will never thirst. It's not what I believe, but whom I believe that matters.

23Thou shalt also make a table of shittim wood: two cubits shall be the length thereof, and a cubit the breadth thereof, and a cubit and a half the height thereof. 24And thou shalt overlay it with pure gold, and make thereto a crown of gold round about. (KJV)
31Our fathers did eat manna in the desert; as it is written, He gave them bread from heaven to eat. 32Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Moses gave you not that bread from heaven; but my Father giveth you the true bread from heaven. 33For the bread of God is he which cometh down from heaven, and giveth life unto the world. 34Then said they unto him, Lord, evermore give us this bread. 35And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst. (KJV)
