Ps Clinton Phillips 31st December 2012 (Zechariah 4:6)

Clinton Phillips, December 31, 2012
Part of the Sunday series, preached at a Special event service

God's plan for 2013
Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit says The Lord.
Story of Elijah surrounded. His student looked out and saw the enemy, but then also saw God's army surrounding it!
When the Spirit of God comes into your situation, He will come with might and strength.
Regardless of the issue, God wants you to understand that you can trust in Him and rest in Him. It's not by our might, or the things that we do, but by His Spirit.
Reflect on 2012 - a productive year, built so much stuff in us.
3 churches - Jubilee, Langford, and other people who came in to see what's going on. God is connecting us through purpose.
When we love each other, it shows.
Our vision doesn't change - passion for God, compassion for people. Not just a building, it's about making a difference to people's worlds!
We can't do this through our strength, we need God's Spirit to be able to do this.
The Spirit of God changes the heart of the kings. Story of rebuilding the temple.
God is going to open up the manifest presence of God, we'll see healings, outpourings of the Holy Spirit falling on us.
We need to position ourselves.
Church - are you ready to be positioned in a place where the Spirit of God says to each one of you.
Be a christian who gives it out. Don't be selfish, don't hoard it. Tell people about God!
